Geez, I hope it's not infectious! I shook Ron's hand about an hour ago, it better not be catching

On another note though: What a wonderful guy! It was a pleasure to meet he and his family

If it makes him feel any better, I bought an air brush at bunnings that is only just chemical resistant to aggressive chemicals such as turps

Its like motorbike helmets , you can buy a $50 helmet that meets the Australian standards , would you wear one
Its your head and it does meet the standards
    Depends

Around town I wear Jeans, T-Shirt, Sneakers and Open Face Helmet..

As soon as I am leaving town I wear... Full Armoured Jacket, Leather Gloves, Full Armoured Pants, Riding Boots, Full Face (Shoei)

Mind you, its a calculated risk around town, I interact with less than 5 cars per trip to work and back.... So pretty decent odds.

    It could be worse!

I recently bought an Oxford Titan disc lock for the XJR1300. I had trouble removing it today before riding down to Bundalene's place.

Tonight when I tried to refit it, I found the inside of the lock has fallen apart and it can't be unlocked. Imagine if it had still been on the disc!

The lock has been removed/refitted about 4 times as that's all I've ridden the bike. I hope the Yamaha dealer will replace it - I don't know where the receipt is.
