I bought a new Navman GPS the other day. Yesterday I was travelling from Mt Vernon area to Mulgoa. On arriving at the intersection of Elizabeth drive and The Northern road the map said to turn right but the directions at the top said to turn left. Luckily I had a reasonable idea where I was going so I turned left, which was right. Jim

I've got your set-top box here Ron. I purcased it less than a year ago, last week it stopped working properly. I felt it was the remote, the only method of control. Today I packed it back into the original box and returned it to the retailer. It was connected to a TV, after checking, by looking through a camera, that the remote was sending a signal. Everything worked faultlessly. I took it home and reconnected it, no go! I checked it as I had seen the store fellow do, with my phone camera, the remote was not sending a signal. It came good and is still working. I phoned the store, getting a different outlet, and went through what had taken place, to be virtually told, "Bad luck, go and buy a generic remote." I did get the direct number for my closest shop, and spoke to the fellow with whom I previously dealt. Luckily this young fellow offered far better service, he will try to get the remote replaced.
Ron, you missed your chance in hospital. You could have asked the surgeon: "While you're in there can you remove the thing that makes me buy faulty goods please?" :p
But think of the worry Ron would have wondering if they had actually removed the wrong part by mistake ;) He would be going crazy waiting and waiting for something to happen:twisted:
No I don't yearn for a Toyota! I do secretly yearn for a Morgan though. They are, like a Defender (), a classic handcrafted british car.
