    No comment????.

Anyway,my old Stihl FS36 has never missed a beat,no need for power cords, batteries,or any obsolete parts

Just empty the fuel after every use, fill it with fresh and starts first go every time.

It has been one of the best motorised garden tools i have ever had,as has been my old Honda mower, and our Echo leaf blower.

It was intentional. That's what I think of small engines (except my model aeroplane and boat engines - wait, even they can be temperamental).

While we're on this topic of cord and line trimmers, can I suggest crew try the red square section line for smaller (or maybe even big trimmers)?

You'll be amazed how much better it cuts and how much longer it lasts. All I use now.

Dunno if square section is available any thicker.

    cheers, DL

I found it jams the spool and went back to round.
