    Updates on the sheds

Amazing how time flies. The old shed is fully renovated now is a press studio with three printing presses and bindery.

From this rat and possum invested mess (sorry guys, but possums here public enemy #1)

Midway with load bearing wall (the old one fell off ).

Bindery with new walls, and floor of Tassie Blackwood cut down by the gate and made into T&G.

    And painted up

Press area just before positioning and bolting presses to the floor.

Meanwhile, in the new shed space ran out with crud all over the floor.

    So shelving is needed

I need to build a workbench in the new shed and I'm looking for ideas. I've seen some interesting arrangements here but I thought I'd start a new thread, asking for pictures of workbenches.

Both sheds are about 10x12m but Karol has claimed the old shed as an art studio.

Just about all of that could be moved out of the shed - tyres and other spare parts in the spare bedroom, motor bikes in the lounge or front room - simples.
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.

Thanks. Took 18 months to get there but SWMBO made it priority one, so everything else stopped . Still have to build the lean too and rebuild the manky wood sheds.

We are going to use some of our Casuarinas as shingles. That should be fun.

    OK show us your shed!!!!

I have been trying for nearly 10 years to build a nice big shed.
My first attempt on an acre block with only a house in it went around and around with council for two years, the next house just didn’t have a good spot , the current block has a perfect spot.
After a couple of months of jumping through hoops with council I have a planning permit.
I was about to sign up for a brand new 10x 8m she’d when this came up on Marketplace
    10x 7.5m at 1/3 the price.
    Mark up

    Dismantle
    2 weekends work
    Earthworks next.
Stay tuned.OK show us your shed!!!!
