Just to stir the pot a little, to some of us there is as little proof of God as there is in man made global warming. As far as I am concerned religion and politics should be kept to yourself.

I don't. I think they are mythical. I've only ever seen them on the TV and in movies. I have never ever seen any evidence of a Pirate here in central western NSW.

Global warming is caused by too many cows farting . Too many greenies talking crap . Terence and Phillip doing too many fart jokes and too many kebabs after a night on the booze

Now you've got me started.

Does anyone else think that the eco bag at the supermarket scam has been dreamed up by the supermarkets and that the green bag eco groups are secretly funded by the big chains?

We already pay a tiny premium on the top of every item that covers the cost of plastic bags. If we're all forced to buy those green bags would the price of our groceries go down?

I think not.

How is it that every thing I hear about plastic bags is the landfill and the poor turtles or seagulls, or parrots that mistake plastic bags for their natural food source? Funny that we no longer hear about how aluminium cans, or PET bottles that are discarded, capture the heads of sugar mad seagulls, and doom them to a short painful life, deafened by the ringing in their ears as they bang about in the dark, are such a menace that they must be outlawed.

Too much trouble to change that, but singlet bags are another matter.

Why not just make a few more of those earnest ads 'raising awareness', and send us another bucket to put out with the garbage so they can be recycled.

Ha.

I know who the pirates are.
