I say run some other cars in the series as long as they fall under the same sized engine and are rear wheel drive .
I ment the support races of HQs not the entire era, pull your own head out of your arse

I lost interest when the other makes were banned.

IMHO, the WRC/ARC is so much more interesting. And - shock horror - there are GENUINELY different vehicles racing against each other - which are much closer to production vehicles than the V8 supercars are.

The WRC has a higher budget - so budget is not the issue. There are WRC races where privateers who are local and know the terrain can cut it with the big internationals.

    The other bonuses:
Drivers have to fix their own car if they break down on a special stage.
Point-point not just round and round again and again...
Racing over 3 days - which is a real test of reliability and endurance
Only one car on the track (usually), so none of the issues that seem to dominate the V8 supercars these days.
They race in interesting places with nice scenery!

British Touring Cars are far more entetaining than V8s, it's just a shame the camera work is not up to the same standard.

I used to be a fan, even flagging in the late 80s but they are fast but comparatively boring now. Pleased you enjoy them though, life would be boring if we all thought alike.
