[QUOTE=Rangier Rover;1160067]........... I know all will want to be a part of this and in many ways will be wile I remain a member here.........../QUOTE]

Although many members have been strong in their thoughts on what should or shouldn't happen with this vehicle, the fact is you are the one who put your $$$$ forward.

So, what ever you decide to do with it is good with me!

I look forward to watching the progress (no pressure).

$1500.00 are they serious?????????? They most likely got it for $20 worth of fuel in the tow truck.

Has anyone actually proved that it is really the real vehicle

I wonder what the Turdis is worth after Dobbo has driven it?

Because the Leylands were popular heroes that inspired a few generations and are associated with the particular vehicles, which were the tools that allowed them to do what they did to achieve their popularity.
Watch The Collectors on TV one night, it is usually the story behind the item that is worth the big dollars.

    Exactly my point

I have inspired a few generations and am associated with my particular vehicles, I am a popular hero to some, women through themselves at me, I am very attractive man. The Turdis is one of the tools that allowed me to do what I do to achieve my ever increasing popularity.

    So

I wonder what the Turdis is worth after Dobbo has driven it?

No one should have ever mentioned money Price in or out for that matter and I have promised to keep the real facts confidential so we'll leave it at that

And it did not come on a tow truck either

We have plenty of proof its the actual Land Rover in question. I'll reveal some of this soon.

    Good onya Rangie,
Let us know your plans after you work up a plan.
I will be probably a bit too far to help spannering but may be able to help other ways.
Agree this is not as valuable as their west/east vehicles but nonethless worth saving.

Now if only we could find that orange kombi
