    Shonky is counting his pennies...

Maybe if my old man stopped wasting my inheretence chasing snow bunnies around Europe for 3 months of the year he could chip in a bit...

If that fails, I have a proposal:

Everyone chips in for an AULRO buy, and donation to a suitable museum.

With 6,242 members - it shouldn't be too hard....even with only a third that number chucking in five or ten bucks...great publicity too. Would make a brilliant documentary just quietly...

I may have just purchased it If I want it. I just have to confirm some info.
They don't want a lot for it so long as goes to an enthusiast and is not molested. Has books with it but not sure what yet.

Have just discussed it with my wife and has no problem with me acquiring this one so that makes it easier. Finding shed space is going to be the problem ATM
Plans are not to restore it as such. I would intend to bring it back to the condition it was in when it was last used in a film shoot. Will now have to find the series of films it may have been involved in. Shouldn't be to hard.

Will look interesting behind my 120" on a trailer. Be something you don't see every day.

Hopefully, not pre-mature, but congrats. Glad to see that someone from here is going to look after it.

Would you consider donating it to the National Motor Museum, so that it could sit alongside the other one?

I am more than happy to chip in a bit of coin, along with others, to re-imburse you for your expenses, as I think it would be a shame if it was not on public display.
