I understand Ranga's very busy modding these units for members, so is there anyone in Perth with the install CD I could borrow for a couple of days? I'm in Coogee, but am happy to travel anywhere in Perth to get them.

    Cheers

Thanks to the support of an increasing number of people here, it has been quite an enjoyable process getting to understand a little of how my GPS works and how the software is organised.

I know that changing the skin and the background is a sign that I have too much time on my hands and I know that my background is not as artistic as Ranga's or Shane's, but it is MINE and I had fun creating it.

With the help of files and suggestions from Ranga and Shane, I felt confident enough to modify the menu myself and commented out the references to TomTom as I don't need it.

    Everything still works too.

I guess it's time to do that xmas shopping I have been thinking about. Though mum and dad could use a tom tom to get them about the place.

Thanks for the heads up Ranga.

I was looking at the bulk rates special but $20 cash back sounds like a better idea. Is this just a one off or can you get it on multiple purchases?

You can do it 5 times per paypal account. So $100 all up!

I ordered one of these on 17th October and dealextreme order tracking status tells me "None available yet". I have emailed several times to find out what the hold up is, with no reply. Has anyone else had trouble communicating with this mob? How long does delivery usually take?
    Should I be worried?

I ordered 2 of these GPS units on 12-Oct-2009. On the DealExtreme.com Shipping Records page I also get a "none available yet". Have sent them a message requesting order status.
