Ta. Sorry no experience with 285/60R18. They are a big tyre.

Yeah LTZ's cracking in the tread on the edge of the sidewall.
Maybe try the Nitto's Terra Grappler G2?

I've been offered the previous Terra Grappler at quite a decent price by the local tyre shop, and it looks like a decent tyre for the price (under $300 @ corner).

At least they do the same size as I have fitted, so I can replace them in 3 instalments.

    Glad you're back sheerluck!

Did you end up getting the new intercooler fitted?

    Cheers

The new intercooler is still sitting in the shed, I just managed to get the old one repaired.

I realised I didn't have a receipt for it - to get the car through the safety check, you need to show a receipt for all repair parts. Didn't want to complicate that process so I left it off.

I've got to take the bullbar off in the near future, as one of the front parking sensors fell out, and I can't get my hands in to refit it. Will get the intercooler in at the same time.

Very interested to know how the new intercooler changes things, when it's fitted...

Ok Gav, I replaced the (very broken) mirror today. Got a pair from a MY15 D4 at a very reasonable price.

Will be removing the side repeaters, and getting the blanking plate/badge in their place.

    A bit moodily lit....

Thanks LA. It certainly looks quite different to the slightly sad wreck on page 1.

In bright daylight, the paint match between old and new is pretty good. But on that picture there is a noticeable difference.

The mirrors need painting to match, they are white.

Have the mirrors on the later models shrunk?

They look smaller than mine, and sort of more egg shaped.

    Maybe just my imagination.
