    Disco 3 Ipad holder

    Hi all,

Just looking for advice from anyone that is or has had an iPad holder setup in a Disco 3, I'm looking for options as the Hema Maps are pretty reasonable priced.

Pics of a mounted iPad in the cabin would be even better if anyone has them?

An example of what I am looking at:
Universal iPad/Android Car Floor Mount - Item No: ATABFSM

    Thanks,
    Ben

Had a mate who had one but didnt like it as he found himself forever looking down not out the windscreen!!!... Eventually found a longer bit of the flex so it was mounted more at dash height so it was less time from looking out the front window and could glance better/quicker...

Also because it was low in the cabin it took his eyes longer to adjust from bright to dark n back again....

    Yeah good point, makes sense.

But wouldn't the iPad at windscreen height take up a ton of room?

    Cheers,
    Ben

Ben, have you got the OEM sat nav in your D3?

Some 7" tablets will fit, or i've read an ipad mini fit in the hole in the dash if you haven't.

Nope no sat nav. I have an iPad2 full size, actually if a bracket could hold it in the same position that may work.

Personally, I hate anything rattling or moving around when on the road, and that mount you linked to looks like it would do just that. I think the little cubby is the right place, as it doesn't obscure any of the windscreen and your eyes are not diverted far from the road to look at the screen.

True, what about something reasonably firm so it doesn't move?
