Hi Shane
Can you please advise which width yours is? 1426mm or 1236mm
I've just purchased a 2011 D4 SDV6 HSE with e-diff.
However it doesn't have any factory roof rails ( not standard on the HSE back then)
I had the pioneer platform on a NW Pajero and its been excellent.
Unfortunately its a little to short to match up with the back bone rails hence a new complete platform, all rack accessories will be transferred over.
My concern with the wide rack is will the overhang be to large with an awning on the side.
Rhino are also stating 100kg load is this correct?

D4 SDV6 HSE MY11, E-Diff.
LLAMS, Rhino Platform on backbone, Mitch hitch, Travall guard, Traxide DBS, HR Guardian IQ, Uniden 8080s+RFI, ATP sliders & underbody protection, Tuffants.
The standard width recommended by Rhino is 1376
No issues with awning, this is mine (on legs not backbone):
The narrow version is 1236, which used to be DIY fit only (width not recommended by Rhino) but this may have changed.
Awning can be fitted with this one too.
This is the one Jon had (on legs not backbone):

Yes for the rack but not for the vehicle, which is 75kg or to be more specific:
Maximum roof load is 71.8kg (less the weight of the roof rails & cross bars) for "Factory Roof Rails & Cross Bars".
For the Expedition Rack it lowers again to 54.3kg (less the weight of the rack & rails).
IIRC it's in the manual but also Sniegy's post here:
http://www.aulro.com/afvb/d3-d4-rrs/...f-loading.html
These are dynamic figures. Sniegy's comment from the same thread:
"While the vehicle is stationary it can increase, but i do not have a load reference for it"
Cheers,
Scott

As Scott said, I had the 1236 wide rack which was a nice neat fit. I also fitted a small Rhino awning to it which fitted below the rack and neatly over the curve above the doors.
This is the only photo I have to hand of it at the moment but I can probably find something clearer if you want it:
I liked this as it was a very compact set-up. However, if you wanted a bigger awning like a Foxwing you may have clearance issues. I have just bought a Rapidwing for the Defender and I don't think I could have mounted it the same way as the bag is much bigger and would probably foul the body. Can't be certain about that but you would want to check it out carefully before committing to it.
Cheers,
Jon
Found another photo that shows it a little more clearly:
Or maybe not. Just a shameless excuse to put another photo up really.
Cheers,
Jon
