Bit of a squirt with air and they shoot out (literally) - ask me how I know.

Nope, tried that, as thats what i normally do as well. This one was well and truly stuck. Slow and steady application of the foot brake pedal and out it came. Luckily no damage to the bore, pistons are hard chromed so all good there . Emery paper on the bore and piston, new seals and clean fluid, should be good for another 2 years.

What happened to your D3/D4 today?

Pulled the pin and ordered an Allisport IC.
6-8 week lead time, so the D4 will sit naked in the workshop for a few weeks yet.

Bullbar is at powder coaters being rejuvenated today, new winch has been ordered.

Pioneer Double Din stereo is ordered, already have fitting kit here ready to go.

Dual battery system has been reworked and wiring install improved. Fabricating a distribution board for rear quarter panel for aux devices.

Dropped the LED upgrades into the in-fill lights

And blacked out a few components to cosmetically enhance.

Some adjustable rear Sway bar links to go in

And the wiring upgrade under way

Cool wiring. I can’t quite work out the orientation of the battery tray though. Where is the branch of auto resetting fuses sitting? Obviously (to me) the tray is the one that sits in front of the battery behind the passenger light.

The breakers run right to left horizontal and below the tray on the front face (just under the coolant bottle).

I’ll throw some more pics up when it’s in location.

It’s got to cope with some decent outputs - including 48a of driving lights and a few other items.

If you need 48amps of light you might need a new optometrist.
At least you won't need a washer bottle.. The Bugs will be cremated before they splatter on your windscreen. Just wipe off the dust
