No not in low range as it was travelling so easily in High. No fault lights on dash either. First time I've had a problem like this but not the first time I've been bogged.... or the last. :)

New replacement oil cooler was delivered this afternoon. It is not genuine its the Nissen equivalent. Build quality is far superior to the original component removed with excellent attention to machining details and seal quality.
Proof will be in the pudding when I get engine reassembled and touch paper is lit.
Interesting that AF no longer stock the LR coolant tank only Meyle so I’m taking my chances on that.
4 x 19” Duratracs fitted today. Noticeably quieter than the Maxxis 980 I removed which were 80% front tread and 25% rear.
Happy with them.
Finally got around to taking out the third row seats and put in a false floor. A couple of supports in the middle and two sheets of marine ply. Slots at the front to access the footwell for air compressor and tyre change bag. Hatches at the back to access the cavity for bottle jack, 4x2s, jacking plates and recovery gear. Just need to carpet it now. Happy.

Took the advice offered a few days ago and replaced the upper tailgate release actuator. Easy enough, involved cutting holes in the waterproof membrane that was smartly repaired with duct tape. While in there I installed a manual release cable just in case (may it never be needed).
Old skin and blood thinner meds ensured the requisite loss of blood as should occur with any repair on a LR.
