Was able to buff out most of the damage to the front bumper inflicted by an unknown hit and run ***** in the local Woolies car park.
My P Plater son thought he would scrape my perfect condition front bumper corner against a rendered brick wall reversing out of our carport. Unfortunately the raw black plastic of the D3 bumper does not allow for easy repair options. I tried filing down the cheese grater effect on the plastic with limited success. Oh the pain is real.
Drove it for the first time in nearly 3 weeks.
Finished replacing the upper tailgate actuator and lock. Also added emergency release cable. [smilebigeye]
Went away on the weekend to Big and Little Deserts. Had the same problem again where under full power trying to climb a sand hill the car gets to a seriously challenging spot and just dies on me. Starting to think it might have something to do with the ERG deletes and the remap I had done. Any ideas/thoughts welcome. Never had this problem before they were done. Otherwise it goes like a scolded cat and tows the van effortlessly.
