Cameras helped us. We caught the little bastards!
We have Alexa at home and the cameras loudly notified me there was a person outside.
Caught and arrested.
Refitted my Traxide SC80 battery isolator today which for some reason had stopped working. After many helpful phone calls to Tim (Drivesafe) he asked me to send it back and found that the control board had somehow been zapped. Three years old, all done under warranty, fabulous support and service. Thanks Tim.
Now to tidy up the wiring for my CelFi Go phone booster.

The Ring Camera started recording as soon as the person approached the car before they even came towards the front door. I just had the alert volume set too low.

Whereas the main security cameras record continuously, the Ring Camera is set up to only record when motion is detected. Combining the two systems makes for a better set up.
