That is the power supply to the transfer box ECU located just behind the battery.

Was a bit of a chance find. I wasn’t going to touch the ECU until I saw the dirty finger prints and oil over the connectors. Someone had been here before which got me suspicious.Quote:

Looked like a battery also had problems in the past as there was a lot of copper sulfate in the area. Was a real mess.

Is this picture upside down or are the connectors pointing upwards where they can collect water? Every other TCCM that I've seen has been mounted with the connectors at the bottom.Quote:

I'm aware of that including that the ecu itself isn't sealed but if upside down then perhaps someone re-mounted it incorrectly which should be rectified.
