This would probably make it easier for each owner to setup the way that best suits their individual needs.

For Traxide users with an in-cab module here’s a little summary that I made up to help remember how to select the various settings. I have the USI-160 which has 4 modes (Share, Ignition, Winch and Jump Start). Noting the orientation of the in-cab module in the picture, if the switch is down Share mode is selected and if the switch is up Ignition mode is selected. Winch mode (when car is running) and Jump Start mode (when car is off) can be selected by toggling the switch (upwards and downwards) in specific combinations then leaving it in the upwards position. Both Winch and Jump Start modes will automatically revert back to Ignition mode.
Ignition mode (Storage mode) turns off both relays thereby isolating the cranking and auxiliary batteries. Ignition mode is great for conserving power when you don’t plan to drive the car very much. If you do drive the car, while ignition mode is selected, both relays will turn on when the voltage reaches 13.1V thereby connecting and charging both batteries.
Hope this helps someone, Tim please let me know if I’ve misunderstood anything.
Cheers
Dean
