There's a spiffy new machine in Winnellie that's doing mine on Wednesday.

Arms are easy, the bearings are a pita. Good luck torqueing the front upper bolts on the rear arm to spec. It's a 21mm hex head bolt with no room next to the body mount. The nut is a caged one. All I could do is a 21mm spanner daisy chained to a 24mm one and push push push. Needs to get to 175Nm. Needs a 21mm crows foot tbh.

Ok thanks for the heads up, I had both rear bearings done 30,000ks ago so intend to leave them. I have a few sets of crows foot spanners so hopefully I have a 21mm.

    Bog stock manual D3.
I reckon it's out by about 2l/100 as the best I usually get in the country at the bowser is about 9-9.5l/100.

    100. Consumption increases exponentially from there.
That first 200ks was on the flat, in a straight line, no wind, cruise control on 100 and no traffic. Not exactly typical conditions

Had 8's on the dash lie meter on mine a few times.

I calculated it out a couple of times and it worked out in the 11's.

My car is the RRS equivalent of your D3 - on the message display box how did you get the time to display above the line to the left of the Ex temp display.

On my car the time displays below the line where your fuel consumption is showing. To get it I have to use the i button and scroll through the options so I can never have time and the other options like fuel consumption displayed at the same time.

    Cheers
