2013/14 SDV6 170000km Remap by Cambo, and towing 3t caravan no issue
Build date June 2013, SDV6, 245k kms, daily driver + driven off road including remote travel, occasionally tow 2t camper.
Passenger side manifold is split proper. 15 to 20 hours to replace both manifolds, so probably around $4k with genuine partsThe $$$ hurts, but I still like our D4.

Still bit of dust in the engine bay from Birdsville / Simpson Desert trip

Mine went in to restricted mode yesterday. Resets by turning off.
Comes back under acceleration.
Sucky blowy noise under bonnet.
Suspect cracked intake manifold.

MY15 D4 TDV6; no towing, no remap, no split manifold....yet![]()
Mine clocked 174,000 today. Remap by Cameron at Old Jaguar 18,000klm ago. Regularly tow a 3.0T caravan. Still on original manifolds. It's strange that some seem to go at 120,000 and others at well over 200,000 klms.
Before: Ser 2a LWB, Ser 3 S/W, 1979 RR 2 door, 1981 LR Stage 1 V8 (new), 1985 LR 110 V8 County (new), 2009 RRS TDV8
Now: MY13 D4 TDV6. "E" rear diff. Cambo's magic Engine & Auto Tune. 1968 Austin 1800 Mk1 auto (my 5th)
