Hi there,
I'm preparing to do a long trip around Australia towing a 2 ton camper trailer (loaded) and am looking at getting the ECU remapped and or upgraded chip put into the Disco to give it a bit more poke and was wondering what the latest advice on this was and who you could recommend in Melbourne to do the work.

If it’s a TDV6 3.0 don’t be tempted to go much better than an SDV6 tune- especially if towing.
If it’s an SDV6 I’d strongly advise Cameron as you point of contact - or consider an iDrive module and leave the ecu alone.

SubscriberI feel the same. I’m happy with the current level of power that my 3.0 TDV6 has. I only want to remap it to turn off the EGR and to remap the accelerator. I find that 100km/h with the 1.8t camper uphill is enough for me.

Go grab an iDrive. Stick that on and give it a go.
If you still want more the remap is still the next step.
You’ll be far less likely to do a manifold or crank on the lower tune levels.
