    If you still want more the remap is still the next step.

    You’ll be far less likely to do a manifold or crank on the lower tune levels.
    Just installed an iDrive on my 16 TDV6 (which has been mildly remapped incl EGR delete)

    Massive difference !

    Ended up settling on mode U2 which was definitely noticeable while not too twitchy for daily driving. This’ll be amazing on sand now!!

    How much extra power and torque did you get out of the mild remap?

    Dunno - didn’t Dynotune it but it’s at SDV6 levels plus a bit

    Apologies if a silly question - is the idrive just a throttle controller? Assume it makes no difference to power or economy?

    You assume correctly there, but if you use the ‘eco’ mode you should get better fuel economy due to the slower throttle response.
