Has anyone figured out why some mules are rear door mounted spares and others dont.

Cant find a SWB mule with Rear mounted spare either?

Hmm. They are mules and therefore not the real thing, so does it matter? You are speculating on a known mule (probably based on a RR Sport) - so who knows what is real, what is being tested and what is production?!!!

Ill throw one out there, guessing whats under the wrapping is half the fun isnt it?

Either they are utes (made to look like wagons) or the spares are optional or both?

Have been mentioned on official LR pages

"The Defender has up to ten different body styles from soft top to Utility Wagon to Double Cab Pick Up allowing you to ride around Delray Beach in the Defender that’s best for you and your driving needs."

    Maybe not so unknown

I was hoping one may have a tailgate set up,but unfortunately that looks like a dream

There is definitely not much vision out the rear window, let alone with the spare fitted

This could easily be a dual cab imo, but most likely still side opening if spare is on back

I guess once all the wrap is gone there will be more vision. Most dual cabs with all the heavy canopys on the back have zero vision.

New evoque gets over this problem with an optional rear view mirror that is a screen rather than mirror.
