Hear what you are saying re LR calling you back... I filled on online form for my local LR dealer wanting a test drive of the new discovery 5 and got an automated email back saying someone will be in touch shortly to arrange test drive (potential new customer) but not one call or email from them and that was over 2-3 weeks ago now. very disappointed, you would think they (a dealer) may want to sell (me, a customer) a new LR...

what ever excuse they may have or IT problems with emails, they could still pick up a phone and call potential customers back assuming they rec'd my online email which prompted their auto reply...

re the new defenders do like them, but would love a proper independent test drive from someone, all youtube clips are people looking at them and talking about them without actually driving them. bring on a proper test drive of them..

*Defender 90 - coil & terrain response, 18" steel wheels, 3d camera, cruise control, smartphone pack, 2.0TD, etc
    *Defender 90 S - 19" wheels, leather, 2.0TD
*Defender 90 SE - keyless entry, leather, 20" wheels, 3.0P
*Defender 90 X - Air Suspension, Terrain Response 2 (I assume only works with air?), other cosmetic stuff. 3.0P (although slower than the SE? Same donk? Heavier I guess)

Anyway - nobody from LR is willing to give me a price, none of the 3 dealers that I have contacted have returned my query. That despite the first dealer saying that somebody would be in contact "within 24 hours" - that was a week ago I think...

Oh well - Land Rover can't be that interested in selling these vehicles, especially to a brand loyal person like myself...

    Cheers,

Both dealers i contacted got back to me straight away mate, pm me for details.
Pricing however is not avail yet in AU as stated above, hopefully first week OCT.

Anyone saying they can’t tell the differences needs Specsavers (or equivalent). The New Defender

I can even tell the difference between Urban, Country and Adventure builds. The New Defender

How do you all cope with Jeep, BMW, Kia, Ford etc who all have a common identity in their model line ups? You must all drive around perplexed The New DefenderThe New Defender

I am reading the 110 gets 646 L when 2nd row seats are up, which is half of the Disco's 1200L...
It does say 1075 L loaded to the roof, but who would load their car to the roof when going offroad?

I like its look much better than the SUV-shape of the Disco 5, but boot is too small
Will have to pray for a boxy Disco 6
I need a similar cargo area as D4 as well.
The new Deefer cargo area is around 200mm shorter with 5 seats, its also around 120mm lower.Width is similar.
I always have a cargo barrier and if necessary load to the roof height.

So maybe i have to wait for the 130,but i suppose it will be heavier, more expensive, and won't be here for a few years.
It will also have a lower departure angle than the 110,but hopefully not ridiculously low.
