Can't be too far from your big trip. Looking great. This 130 is so impressive up close, the pics do not do it justice. You might now have the title of the most chequer plate in the north east now!
Thought I'd better find a spot to mount the shovel and hi lift jack, and got a bit carried away... Ended up also mounting the axe and mattock and going the bonnet checker plate puely for practical reasons. The kids love being able to climb up the bonnet onto the roof.
Picking up the slide on tomorrow from having the side walls modified to enclose the room between oztent and camper. Hope its all good.

Yep just over a week to go, better start packing! Going to Melbourne next week for work so that will be my shakedown trip... And yeah, to have more chequer plate than you was a big task but I think I've done it! Will get some better photos with the camper on for a project finished shot. Well, finished for now![]()

Picked the camper up yesterday, so now apart from a few small jobs, project finished!!! I've managed to do everything on my list except the long range sill tanks, they will have to wait. So to test out the lockers and see how it handles the ruff stuff with the camper on, I went for bit of a drive just down the road into the bush to a known challenging rocky loose very steep hill climb. As it is winter the tracks are damp and around here we have patchs of red clay which gets very slippy, so I also was prepared to test out my winch. But of course the good old Landy with tyres aired down, both lockers in, clawed it's way to the top, no need to winch. The track was a lot more eroded with good rock ledges than I remembered, so I was very excited to have driven it!![]()
So now to finish off the few small jobs and pack. Have to go to melb this week, will set it all up next weekend and take some more pics of the camper.
Cheers,
Andrew.
See you soon I hope
Safe travels.
Where did you get those tool brackets from? Or did you make them?
I haven't been through the whole thread yet - hopefully there is some detail on the roll cage.. I presume it was expensive.....
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".
