Not sure where he is at present, I think he's left already to go North, but he built the roll cage himself.
And it looks awesome up close too![]()

We finally hit the road last Tuesday, just arrived in the Gold Coast where we are staying in a cabin for 4 nights. The Landy hasn't missed a beat so far, so glad I fitted Cruise controlThe camper has been great so far, except for the snapped hinges on the new oztent which I have arranged replacement for, free of charge thank God. Seems a bit of a **** weak design, thinking of modifying it... we just stayed two nights at station Creek north of Coffs Harbor, was a nice spot but looking forward to some warmer weather.
Thanks for the comments on my roll cage, when I get back I'll work out a price if anyone interested , will be at least half what the SD ones sell for.
And yes I did make all the tool holders as I custom fitted them.
Haven't gotta blog so might keep in touch here as we go.
Cheers , Andrew.
What cruise control module did you fit and how do you find it?
Had the pleasure of checking out the rig last week - very impressive indeed!
Looking good Andrew !
Didn't mention it to me Ranga ya bastard !
Yep interested in the roll cage thing when you get around to it... for a 130.

Thanks again Ranga for putting us up, will catch up again for sure. Fraser Island was awesome, we all loved it. The Landy didn't miss a beat and the Isuzu loved the soft sand. We set the camper up at Central station and did day trips, working well. Big highlight was seeing a whale very close to the beach near Eli Creek, it put on a great show, very impressive![]()
Hi Andrew,
Glad the trips all going well.
Having driven it I'm not surprised the soft sand isn't slowing it down!
Looking forward to to see the pics and hearing all the details when you get home.
Tony
Heading north now, somewhere neat Mackay tomorrow night.
