Look like a couple of fresh air vents for the canopy at the moment.

You are spot on - pressurising vents to keep down the dust in the back - same function as the front Land Rover vents.

Come on guys - it's now the evening of the 10th so you had better keep moving on it to meet the deadline for departure.
    Cheers, Dale

They are still out there "burning the midnight oil" Dale.

Things are coming together nicely.....although there are setbacks here and there. But.. nothing that can't be rectified.

It's a big challenge for both the boys....and they're LOVING every minute of it

They're still on schedule and Erich will no doubt post pics and info. later tonight.

    Stay tuned.

Thanks Derek, to you and Dale for your on-going encouragement

Everyone has been so generous with their encouragement and positive comments. It really has been wonderful and truly appreciated.

So, Derek. Have you had any recent info. on track conditions etc.?

The boys are still planning to head out of here late next week, all being well, so hopefully the river crossings will still be OK by the time they drive in.

Heard there was a bit of a storm in Darwin yesterday, but I guess it was only local.

    Thanks, Sheila

I'll ask around as I'm sure Dale will too. Haven't anything other than the fact the track is terrible from about the last 150km in to Gove.

I believe there has been some storms to the west of Gapuwiyak.
