Sorry for the late update tonight, mum and dads computer will not let anyone log in. somthing stange is happening.
Yes its a window from the side of a series 2a, LWB 2 door hardtop.
Update soon, i'll need to upload the photos first.
Thanks Steve for your kind comments
We will try and get some fishing in, but not sure if time will allow it. We're flying back to Sydney on December 1, so it only gives us a few short days to enjoy the hospitality of our Gapuwiyak family & friends.
...But, there's always next year
Cheers, Erich

Fishing is booked in whether you like it or not. The boat is already waiting at Blue Mud Bay near Balma.....
Can't wait to see you both up here. Wish it was for a bit more time though...
Dad you can be a the front of the boat with the spear!!!
Had a bit of rain here in Gappas today. More on the track - toward the Goyder. Alfred said once it starts to rain in that direction you usually have a few weeks to get through the river.
Hope the weather experts are right when they said these are just a few intermittent outbursts from the sky... the real wet season is due after Christmas. Then again who really knows ....![]()
ok some pics. my computer is on the brink too, it took a few hours to upload just a couple of photos.....
We had a little problem with the fuel bleeding back from the fuel pump due to an air pocket, but its all good now.
When laying underneath, i noticed the car had a 1.2 transfer case (disco ratio) instead of the 1.4. This should give better fuel economy on long runs, but also explains why it felt like a slug off the mark origionally (The same as a stock geared td5 manual disco with 33s). The chip fixes all that up though.
Leanne has almost finished the canopy, it just needs the eyelets, elastic ropes, and a couple of finishing touches. All 3 sides are fully removable (velcro instead of dust leaking zippers). I removed the drivers side one to access the rear easier.
Heres a pic of it next to dads defender. The 130 is 42cm longer total in length.
I cross axled it (which didnt take much due to the sway bars and 23mm diameter rear springs.
There were 2 problems here, 1 is the rear spring pops out. Now this would normally be easy, as i'd throw in a cone locator or somthing, but it has the helper and the airbag in there. The spring actually poped out lower than this, the top came out completely and jammed there.
The other problem is the front is touching slightly on the inner guard at full lock, up travel. This is only due to the MASSIVE scrub radius of the 2 1/2" backspaced rims. Not a serious problem, but i dont want to risk damaging the tyres or bling flairs, so i'll give it some loving with a hammer and grinder.
Andy
Hopefully mum and dad can get their PC fixed soon, as at the moment they can only view but can't log in to reply. If they log in, it automatically logs you back outI tried my login, and a new username that i created, but it does the same thing.
... what spring rate are those monsters in the rear?
You guys might have to chuck a few full 44s in the tray for the run up to Arnhem to keep the tail in line...
In regards to a simple "keep the spring in fix" Ive seen a bit of 50 x 5mm flatbar tacked to the outside of the upper cone. Enough to keep the outer lip of the spring from stepping out but not too permanent.
