Yep, petrol is nasty stuff these days, I had a fuel pump squirt me in the eye the other week and it was most unpleasant, could not see and had to stumble to the tank. Probably you should be washing parts with solvent or kero though, cuts the nasties you are breathing in.

    Thumbs up 10% discount

    Hey Tony,
Don't take NO for an answer with regard to the 10% student discount! If they promised it to you, contact the principle of the business, the general manage or similar. I always go for the top person first off. Probably best to use the phone in person , follow up with emails and phone again the next day and so on. The squeaky gate gets the most oil (Henry Royce of RR fame). If all else fails.......use your father to get into the act and use DAD-POWER.
You are doing a great job and many a lessor person would have given up months ago.
Its always exciting when new parts arrive and unwrapping is almost as good as Christmas, as a small boy. Enjoy every moment .
make sure that that chassis is out of winding when welding bits in, just use 2 parallel timbers and get down and sight them in relation to one another and you will soon see if it is right.

It's good to see they supplied a double sealed bearing.
That will stop oil transfer from G/box to T/c.
Doing good . Yes it takes time...........
