4WD Industries had one set of rocky mountain door tops left when I recently purchased mine. They certainly make a difference

Thanks guys!! Definitely a helpful bunch!

Well I check on the old girls progress usually a couple times a day to see where its at and ita currently in South Australia.

I head off overseas from the 1st feb so hoping it arrives before then.
Once it arrives I will be making a list and crossing things off.

I will have to head out to Logan Village to check out your stuff!!

Thumbs up It's on the road!

So after a very eventful 2015 with 7 months of overseas travel there was not much time left for the old Landy.

I have however managed to get it registered with out much trouble at all which was a great relief.

After driving it around town for a week with a huge smile on my face the brakes have gone squishy so its time for an overhaul. I have put together a list of parts I would need to grab and if someone could possibly put an eye over and fill in any missing parts it would be greatly appreciated...

just uploaded a bunch of photos and will post shortly.

    Cheers,
    Stu.

here are a few images of the brakes that are on Rowdy.

I believe these arent the standard hardware for this model and are off a later model? v6?

    Fronts:

What is leaking here? and how do I stop it?

    the rears:

The drivers side rear also had a lot of oil in the drum which I assume is coming out of the axle? is this an easy fix and what parts will be required?

Thanks for all your help guys!

I'm no expert but you should also replace the 3 brake hoses. 2 front and 1 at the back. 3 copper washers also. I cut my hoses in half after replacing and I was surprised fluid managed to flow - they were very blocked and crumbly.

If they are not standard brakes for the 88 inch (swb) they will be 11 inch ones from a long wheel base vehicle.
Hard to tell looking at them but run a ruler over the drums to see if they are ten inch or 11 inch. Otherwise they should have the maximum size tolerance cast on the outside of the drum 10.060" or 11.060"
Looks like you have a few leaking hub seals, knuckle seals etc.
For what it is worth you may as well fit new seals to everything while you have it pulled down.

    Good luck.
    Cheers, Mick.
