Banjo, with an engine that colour you will always have a bee in your bonnet (or under it)!
Looking good.
Hi Jason, Hope you are well. Been missing your threads, Just stumbled across this one by accident, how many others I have missed I do not know.
But I am in apostasy as I no longer have a leaf spring Land Rover, but do drive a lifted Disco now.
John, are you aware the "Embarrassment" Thread has been regulated to the "Soapbox"???Banjo doesn't like it but I do because only dedicated "Embarrassment Devotees" are posting on it. There was a couple of blowins posting when it was in the General Area which caused concern and stress for Banjo, but in the "Soapbox" he is among friends who are doing their best to support him!!!
Hey Banj, perfect weather, no excuse, whats happening!!!![]()
Yes it has been quiet here. I havent been working on Harry as the engine is giving me some grief as i did the rod boltd up to 35 lbs same as 202 & they kept breaking.Found out cause its an early 202 they only need to be done upto 18 lbs GGGGRRRRRRRR..So now they have to be machined as they are all stretched & all up its going to be a bill of $1200 if i do the head up to suit ULP..so been looking at other options cause i realy miss my V8 & when sleeps turned up here in the MACHINE it got me thinking again..
..
Have been working on the camper as it has a bad gas leak & it had 2 outlets for gas but we only need the one so have all the gas lines out at the moment & i dont have a key for the water filler so have to replace that & we want to move the tap off the side to the rear where you can get to it instead of having to go all the way round the side when its set up..

Hey Jas, You seem stalled due to the engine issues. Is there other stuff you can work on while your waiting? Bodywork etc.
The Diesel option sounds like a good idea. Would be a shame to ditch the 202 - it looks so pretty. I guess a V8 would be another option but l'd be putting it on lpg. My v8 sounds/goes great but boy is it thirsty.
