PS the colour looks wrong for a landy...keys not a prob we know a locksmith who helped with my door locks..
Bought a SIII with a 2.25D engine. 109" troopie body.
This is a luxury version - it has roof vents for driver & passenger, and a previous owner has fitted pneumatic struts to the rear upper door. There are rear seats (not fitted, I have to figure that out).
There's a pretty heavy duty looking roof rack.
Spare set of wheels - one set is worn cheese cutters on normal rims, the other set is nice looking A/T's on Sunraysia rims. I want to get a spare sunrasia rim & matching tyre or 2.
Both interior & bonnet spare wheel hders are there. So I may get 2 spare sunraysias.
Long range (extra) tank on passenger side.
There's a spare starter motor, transfer case, bell end, front door handles (no keys so far though) door hinges & lots of parts that I don't recognise.
Known issues:
Brakes need bleeding, possibly other remedial work too.
Oil leak from around the top of the engine - suspect rocker cover gasket.
Evidence of diesel leak - slick on side of main tank.
Near side headlamp needs replacing. It's in the back - the plug was stuffed.
Both headlamp holders(?) are rusted out & should be replaced.
The timing (according to the previous owner but one) is out & it certainly looks it from the quantities of white smoke.
The seats are split, so will need replacing / covering for RWC.
The wiring appears original - the insulation's going brittle in places.
No doubt I'll find more as time goes on.

Looks like a lovely lady. Glad to see she's found a good home.
I even like the colour! (see my avatar)

Thanks Caroline.
It is camino gold, I think it's just my iPhone camera that's got the shading wrong.
The key I have fits the driver's door & ignition, possibly the passenger although it seems to be stuck, & doesn't turn at all in the rear. So I expect I'll be needing your locksmith.
Bugsy, if yours is a TDI Deefer I might be persuaded.
Thanks for the compliments both of you.![]()

You may well be right Carolyn. I can't tell the difference - they're both a sandy colour to me. I'll certainly bring it round to compare once I have it registered.
SIImad, I'm with Mrs. Ho Har. Let's see some proper pic's.
You too for that matter, bugsy.![]()
