Hi.
Stripped down wiper, windscreen section.
Do you grease or oil the drive spring and wiper shaft. If so what is best.
Made a cap for driver end that protrudes about two inches out of the end cover, collecting dust and dirt.
Almost like something was forgotten at the end of design. Used a small dome tent pole joiner. Pics to come.
Had a look at oiling spigot bush today. Adice given was put your finger over one end, fill with oil, push thumb down to force out through wall of bush.
I must be a Land Rover Owner, who has very small fingers !!!!!
Have old style film canister. was thinking fill with oil and let soak for a week or two ???? what grade oil should I use.
Thanks for comments.

I've always just used engine oil - whatever has been laying around. Drop it in a container and let it soak overnight.

I was told to soak new bush for 24 hrs in 90 gear oil on holdens if that helps
Place spigot bush onone thumb & fill it with engine oil ethe using other thumb press against the other end of the bush . The pressure will force the oil through thr paws of the bush . Do this untill the oil starts oozing out the sides of the bush . Thats the way we did it when I worked as a mechanic,
Thanks for all replies.
Pulled out heater box today, stripped padding off to see it was pretty bad.
