    Has owned the Series III 88 since new and when not rebuilding it, is heavily involved with the NSW Lancers Memorial Museum at Parramatta.

    Interesting...I'll have to have a chat one of these days, I haven't seen it parked out on the footpath before and get along that street reasonably often when playtesting my Series.
    That makes 3 shorties, an LWB Series, an occasional 130 single cab Puma and my 110 within 500 metres (Used to be an S3 FFR, 101 and some US sourced army trucks too)

    Fitted a new Bearmach front prop shaft to my Series this evening, also found out how effective the brakes are (very) and how rubbish the tyres are on road (very) when an L-plater decided to change lanes during a multi-lane right turn intersection. Barely 4 inches between bumper and camry. My County would have hit with its extra weight!

    Weekend before last:
    Roo bar on the front and relays, fuses and new wiring for the headlights and driving lights.

    This weekend, swing away spare wheel carrier on the back.

    Fitted a new phenolic spacer under the carby, thanks to Inc for pointing to the source (All4x4), went for a 'blocky', waved to the old lady that loves to chat whilst I work on my cars , got a wave from a Defender driver, now for a longer run to burn the old fuel and make sure she's good to go, as ol' Mary will be my daily driver next week. Fingers crossed no rain as I still don't have door tops fitted!

    I did this, starting to look a bit like a Landrover again...

    New plugs, heater box and blower back on, chassis fixed, rustproofed and painted, every drop of oil changed in everything, wings and windscreen back on. DSC_1333.jpg

    Stripped brake department off my stripped rear axle off my completely stripped chassy. To be sand blasted. Good greasy stuff.
