    i extended the Diff Breathers, into the engine bay

    Finished off the Mud Console, should be enough to warn me before it overheats again !!


    Although with a new AMV head & Viscous fan ( the culprit ) its behaving perfectly now..

    Pulled the left hand door liner off to investigate why the door keeps relocking itself when the wife tries to open it..
    I now hate Discovery door liners. Door speakers don't fit where they are meant to when replacing the liner, the little plastic studs are way too easy to bend and break.
    I also found the window carriage in the bottom of the door cavity, so re fixed that while I was inside the thing.

    Next is to find just what it is that makes the odd metallic sound on certain bumps, it's not the new shockers and mounts, they are tight and immobile in place.
    Only way is to go for a drive with the wife strapped underneath so she can take a look I suppose.

    New windscreen, transfer rear output seal
    Complete new handbrake kit and shoes. Fixed oil
    Leak from vac pump to block. Replaced o ring on cyclone breather thing
    New door cards new rubber seal on rear door. New heater
    Matrix. That should keep it goin for a while.

    A few odd jobs underaken on the Disco 2.
    repalce rear bumper after backing in to post, love that it was just 2 bolts
    replaced rear taigate actuator it now unlocks
    fitted replacement front drive shaft
    replaced drivers side rear door actuator not as easy as the back but better than the Disco 1
    Fitted new MP3 DVD player
    now for the 3 Amigos

    Yup, finding a place for the oil temp sensors was fun ( engine gearbox & transfer box) & I had to make another hole thru the firewall to thread all the wire. This is the messy side
