That's partly because he knows it is going to be used at Eli Creek Fraser Island in a couple of weeks, his favourite place. His mum and I don't mind it either

Sorry missed this, would have got back earlier, got them from Rover Parts ages ago. From memory they were about the same as buying from the UK
and I like to support the local guy. Sean is great to deal with and is very knowledgeable.

Nearly forgot, there are two types now. The original type that you rivet back to the original location that trap stones, dirt etc. Then are aftermarket types that go on the bottom of the doors. I had to go with the old style due to rust repairs on the bottom of all my doors

My kids loved it there watching the hire troopies fly through too fast.

They used to all stop about 200m after the big splash and bang, open bonnet look, then shut, and walk back to pick up the stuff that flew off the roof.

My father new that creek well, the S111 became known as the 'yellow submarine' as it was submerged by the high tide

Headed out the the local rego check place, got the annual roadworthy, so set for another 12 months.
At least the guy I go to checks things, jacks it up etc, and does a road test - unlike some of the others around the place.
