Thread: What did you do on your Landy today?

Flushed my brake system, replaced the old fluid with new super 4 dot, I noticed it was supposed to be done every 2 years in my Haynes owners manual , had the D2 for just over 3 years now, the fluid was dark as mud. Bob

Well today I put my roofbars on ($75 plus $18 postage, foundi t on trading post or something)

Please, please remind me that I may never ever get a lift kit lol (awful snug fit beneath the rollerdoor...)

Still don't understand the coupling bearing thing (link no work) There's the donut. And There's the diff pinion bearings but thats bot something associated with doing the shaft unless changing from the donut to uni/uni.

bah.. who knows.. they're pretty decent, they said I had to get it, I chose my own part for less than half the price they quoted me, so if I didnt need it then I'd rather have had what I didnt need at $93 than at $230..

new seat belts in my 95 disco, stripped out rear interior and rust proofed everything I could find with K and H chassis wax, no evidence of rust anywhere, eve around the alpine windows

Were the seatbelts painful or did you find a moderate priced generic type?

Moved the D3 a whole 50 metres in the driveway.
Busy weekend working on my little car instead (Bilstein gas suspension and remapped the ECU).
