Built (well, repurposed) a new alternator adjuster, only took half an hour or so. Quite pleased with it.
Haha just realised if I can plug up that "J" it'll have "LR" on it lol![]()
Opposing threads, only one lock nut required, it's on the alternator end for easy access. It only has to hold the centerpiece as each end has an eye with a bolt through it, leaving the middle the only part that can turn
Installed a new lift pump and a new aerial so I can actually listen to the radio on my fancy cd player! Two jobs which have been a long time coming!

I washed the thing for the first time in at least 6 months. Definitely need sunnies to look at it now.

Just left 'Fred' parked under a tree for a while, The birds were very dirty.
Changed the ABS master cylinder the other day, the brakes went from soft pedal, poor brakes to no brakes and after bleeding the air out today I now have a hard pedal and very poor brakes!
I'm going to revisit the adjustment where the plunger fit's the booster.

Well after 14 years the D2 decided the idler pulley bearing should seize and cut the belt..
So she's back in the driveway and awaiting the imminent arrival of the new unit.
Can take my time though, will throw some rego on the bike I think!
