    What PSI are you using?
Sounds like there could be a risk of damage to the tank or fittings with too much pressure!!!!

On things like the Superbug, VW ran the washers off the spare tyre. This was great, until, after many dusty or dirty trips you got a flat and found the spare was flat
Still, it was a very simple system, and I can't see why you couldn't cobble up something similar to pressurize the tank occasionally. Make up a modified fuel cap and connect it up to the spare.

Changed the front and rear diff oil. Had to make a new tool to remove the fill plug (it is a brass one with a slot) as could not find my other one. Happy that the oil came out clear and nothing on the magnetic plug to worry about.

On a Daihatsu 4wd I had many years ago I made up my own bulbar and sealed it up so I could charge it with air. One hundred and twenty PSI in it would give enough volume to inflate 700 x 16 tyre to about 35 psi.

Replaced all coolant hoses & replaced original clamps (all 20 of them) with std utilux ones, removed EGR Cooler & associated plumbing. Doesn't sound much but boy you've got to R&R a lot of other 'stuff' in order to get to some of those hoses. Fortunately I was able to borrow one of those bowden cable/trigger operated tool to release the OE clamps - they must fit all of them prior to fitting engine to vehicle as some were positioned such that you would never get them off without the special release t?ol.

Sold the D2 and put a new battery in the Freelander 2 - that should keep SWMBO mobile & happy, provided she doesn't leave the 'key' in the slot overnight.

Then road tested the Defender after replacing all the coolant hoses. Now about to pack ready to go bush tomorrow for nine days.
