Apologising for not having a ladder is one thing. That's in a whole new league.

Yeah, strap them to her feet and she can bounce into the county.

there Mark, problem solved. She can get in the car and you have somewhere to put a tray of beers and chips.

    Now who's non pc?

Would the yellow of dobinsons clash with her outfit? Maybe Lovells blue would be better. Though I think lift for midgets is measured in feet not inches.

What?!? You mean do it the way RAVE says? Surely not

    Recent works done:
    - Fitted roof racks and Rhino Sunseeker awning
    - Attempted to do auto service, but stymied by a rounded torx filter bolt. Did a fluid change.
    - Replaced engine mounts (old ones were sagged but not stuffed)
    - Replaced exhaust mounts (old ones looked ok but it's fixed a vibration in the exhaust at idle)
    - Taped up apertures behind the tail lights (original tape was lifting) to reduce amount of dust entering the back of the d2.
    - replaced fuel filter

    On the todo list:
    - Fluid change diffs, transfer case
    - Oil and filter change Td5
    - Fluid change power steering and ACE
    - extract stuffed torx screw, replace filter and do second fluid change on Auto.
    - Fit new dobinsons springs and koni heavy track shocks

ah yes, but without unbolting the drive shaft and stabiliser bars you can still remove sagged lovells springs. no way where the new ones going in that way.

OK thought you were saying unbolt the stabiliser bars then the driveshaft and axle will drop enough.

When you stabiliser bars are you talking about the Panhard rods or the anti-roll bar links?

    5. Remove 2 nuts securing anti-roll bar links to
front axle and disconnect links from axle.
I've got Dobinsons springs to fit this week so I'm seriously interested.

anti roll bar is what you disconnect, need an 18mm socket for the nut and 17mm open spanner to hold the top of the connecting rod from turning.as you lower the axle they pull through the roll bar. line them back up when finished and jack the axle up and the rod will go through the roll bar and reattach nut.

passenger side i had to remove the shock tower to get the new spring in, drivers side was ok leaving shock in.
