    Local company produce huge range of hubs, axles, rims of all shapes and sizes. I supplied a stud (Land Rover S3 16mm) and they drilled the hubs to correct PCD and stud size.

    They were mainly used for crowd control during the riots during the apartheid era.....a bit unfair considering the size and capabilities of the vehicle, but thats how it is.....or was, most of the Casspirs were reconditioned and sold off all around the world.

    Got the td5 started after fixing the head gasket, oil cooler, thermostat, mounts, water pump. Oh yeah, broke the little plastic nozzle on the radiator that feeds that skinny little hose back to the expander tank. Fair dinkum.

    Filled up my new Aux fuel tank and water tank. Spilled a lot of diesel down the side of the car too in the process. Its hard to get the hose on the right angle. More practice i think.

    And played with the electrics to add another 12v socket to the rear. In the process i kept on blowing my glow plug and reverse light fuse. So i pulled out the socket and will work out the earthing problem after the trip. I don't want anything to go wrong while away.
