    1. Accidentally backed the Defender into the passenger rear corner of the wife's Yaris - Oops!
Fortunately, the marks on the Yaris polished out. The Defender was unmarked, (of course).
This is the second time I've dinged the wife's car while backing, so I'm on thin ice, I think. Ha!

    2. Paid the deposit on an order for a set of OffRoad Systems drawers for the Defender. Will be a single drawer with a compartment behind with a lift off lid in which I hope to hide an AGM battery, plus another compartment. Will have four recessed fridge tie-downs. Should be about four weeks until delivery - can't wait!

Replaced the springs & shocks with +2" Dobinson coils, + 50mm Raw Nitro Max shocks, a couple of things I learned, the front springs have the flat to the top, & the bottom butts up against a lip on the inside of the spring plate on the axle. Just some surface rust on the plate, all good. The back springs [ progressive] fit with the progressive part [ least gap] to the top. The best tip I could give is to find some one with a hydraulic press, After you drop the axle and take the old springs out [ using a good set of spring depressors] measure up, place the springs in the press, press to the measurement, [ evenly], hold there with the depressors, it fits in easy as. Just make sure you have the depressors set up to be easy to unwind. It's a different vehicle, very impressed. Next up is the steering guard. Bob
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

    More squiggles needed

Relays for compressor etc... The switches really aren't up to it.

Dropped the 110 into the panelbeater for repair following the accident nearly four months ago.

Picked up a Patrol hire car.

You should be able to fit up to a 4" lifted coil in a D2 without any spring compressors

Whole job is around 60 minutes go to whoa
