Its a really minor thing I know, but I discovered how easy it is to change the windscreen wipers on the Defender, using the combined arm and blade kits you buy. Just click the old one off and click the new one on. Easier than I had realised once I deciphered the diagram on the back of the packet (I'm a bit visually challenged). I'm sure most of you already knew that, but I hadn't realised, so there you go....

HAven't taken delivery of my 110 yet, but in the garage I have a NAS step and on the way is a Shadow winch bar, steering bashplate and wolf front light covers.
Roof rack, snorkel,2nd battery,CB, winch and compressor, chequer plate and ladder next. Just hurry up and get here.
By all means get a Defender. If you get a good one, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

After nearly 6 months of not caring about my rangie, I put the battery charger on it today! It's time to get it back on the road again![]()
Took a slow puncture for repair. Bfg 285/75/r16. Guy found a nail and an internal split looking for blow out.Turns out the tyres were made in 2003!
Bought a new set of bfg 255s
Got rid of an annoying tapping noise in the 300tdi. After checking all the usual suspects with no joy, took it for a test drive, or should I say thrashing, and problem solved. All I can think of is possibly a sticking valve.
