Well hard to say. Never drive a range rover with 35" tyres..

But if you compare STD RRC EFI, RRC is more steady because it has got smaller tyres. So they don´t change shape as mutch like those soft offroad tyres.. And also long wheel base makse better handling.
Our car is quite good to drive, better than Fiat stilo ~2005 I drive once my friend Fiat stilo approx 1000km and ever toutch that car again. I drive our hyprid gladly before that Fiat..
Also this hyprid is mutch easyer to drive town vs RRC, smaller and lighter, mutch better performance also.
And if you compare Series V8 with 35" tyres, Hyprid is like range rover then, mutch better brakes, soft suspension, power steering etc..

I cant say what about defender/90" land rover vs hyprid.. almost same car?

I know that a standard Range Rover is a really nice car (as you can see in my earlier photos) my Rangie was pretty rough but it has a really sweet engine and gearbox. The engine is strong, has a great soundtrack, pulls from low down. The gearbox is a LT95, I love the way it changes a, as with all LT95's it's a little clunky but I like that seeing as I'm used to a Series box. The thing I love about it as well is the strength of the gearbox, It's basically a small truck box. It maybe a bit of a put off for some people but I like the way it rolls around corners (again I drive a Series where your door handles feel like there going to hit the ground) it feels like your driving a big American wagon. Going to start work on it again next week so stay tuned.

I've already watched that many times, have you had a look at the full story? On about page 6 of this thread you'll see how far I've gotten with it. It'll take a while to read the full story cause theres about 113 posts.

You must understand that it is not just one story. each program has about five or six episodes. The particular one I have taped , with Fox IQ, has Evans taking his 230 gearbox to Ashcroft, and being given a tutorial on stripping and restoring the box, priceless, no doubt there are other gems throughout his series. Sorry my mistake I didn't write that properly, I meant have you read the whole thread on my Series 3 100", I got my copy of 4X4 is Born before I even bought the Rangie to start work, I watched it all before I did anything. Thats how I came up with the idea of making a 100" cause of that show. Sent a message to Mark Evans and said what I was doing and he replied and said that he gave me his best and good luck with it.

Put the carby kit through the Holley lastnight and it's looking good, all the parts fitted and didn't have anything left over. A few bits were missing from the carby in the first place so I was pleased to put the kit through it and give it a good clean, lots of crap came out of the galleries and the inlet pipe was covered in rust or some sort of corrosion. Another step closer.

It's been a long time since my last post on this thread but I'm back. The project is going well, I've got most of the interior panels sitting in there spot. The gearbox tunnel I'm using is the old Rangie classic tunnel cut down to fit in the series interior so all the gear levers and handbrake lever fits in their proper spot and the seat box has been cut to allow the bigger LT95 box. Will get some more pics up soon. The next stage is the front of tray cross member and rear cross member which won't be too hard as long as we get it straight and level.

Thanks for that, I was wondering what you were up to. Sounds good!
At any given point in time, somewhere in the world someone is working on a Land-Rover.

Been busy lately but might work on it tomorrow, either that or strip down my Red 202 to sell of as parts. Going to finish of the chassis work so I can get it professionally welded so the engineer hasn't got an extra thing to complain about. Would love to get it up to Perth this year to get the certificate done and run it over the pits ready for my L plates and later on P plates.
