Definitely! The person I talked to for forty minutes sounded like he was twelve and was shocked at the idea of me doing all of the work.

At least I know what I'm talking about, in the next week I'm going to get the rear crossmember on and the front of tub mounts and get it up and running again, I'll get the brakes working before I move it anywhere, to get it running nicely I'll put a carbie kit on it so it doesn't leak so much fuel. I'm going to also go into the department of transport and see if I can get any answers.

That's what I mean - at least you have the experience, unlike those knobs. I work with some Transport people up here and they're great, but the ones down in Perth . . .

Be sure to let us know how you go.

might have one will have a look for ya. do you have to convert from single line brakes to dual? or will you still run the rangie brake bias vale and dual line setup?

I bought a booster pedal box today, $30 minus the booster and resevoir but if it had those two on it already I'd probably bin them anyway. I'm going to see if I can make the Rangie booster and resevoir to fit so its a straight fit to the brake lines and vacuum hose, I know it works cause everytime i pushed the brake pedal it made that whooshing noise that boosters make. Thats a saving of around $170 on buying a new pedal box and booster. Using the Rangie resevoir means I can run the dual line and run standard fittings.

1975 range rover, LT95gearbox, 35" BFG mud terrain, ARB rear diff, Front Quaife torsen, (buying ARP near future)

Original engine when build 3.5carb. Then 165hp EFI.
Then 3rd upgrade is 3.5 Flapper EFI witch was take out for my SD1. I modify this ex RRC 165hp engine long time go to vitesse specs. (i bought this engine from Sweden, i live in Finland) I make slightly head porting, carb model cam, SD1 exhaust manifold, increase fuel pressure + STD CR.
She will made 210hp@5020rpm and 311Nm@4000rpm.. 280Nm@2000rpm. More than Rover Vitesse engine 190hp/300Nm. I have to say engine is mutch better than STD EFI engine..
Now i sold flapper system and bolt on 3.9 hotwire system + bigger 71mm plenum witch i made..

We have to request special permission to make this swap. And when we cut this RRC chassis, our MOT guy want this type cutting and also welding reinforcement plate to chassis.

Sorry my English.. Ask if you want to know more, i will tell gladly.

Thats a neat looking Range Rover 88", I'm just keeping it the same length. I'm just going to keep the standard 3.5 Carby fed V8 but maybe convert it to an injected V8 down the track. Whats it like as a road vehicle, just like a Range Rover or is it a bit different with the lighter body.
