    Appreciate it mate. Unfortunately the time of year that it is, there's not much anyone can do. Haven't given up on getting a head gasket though. Again, if anyone in the Adelaide area has one handy, give me a call at 0406409882 - there's a flight coming up tomorrow that can take it.

    Unfortunately Alice usually doesn't get benefit from Express Post.
    But an air bag well timed can make same day.

    Didn't sound too bad, to be honest. still felt underpowered , but with a new gasket and a bit of luck, I reckon we'd make it down to yours...

    I don't know.
    Erica left a message with Cara (Roverspec) also.
    I have tomorrow off, so will be onto as many options as possible.

    Hi Mike

    Sorry I'm late, I have just come limping back inside, after dropping a old wooden door on my shin, Ooh!

    Just read your post and PM. At least it's all back together, how did it sound and was there any vibrations?

    In answer to your PM I'm afraid that would have to be Monday next week now.
    I must leave the performing of miracles to a higher authority, I will still give you a ring though.

    Anyone know if ---

    Hi All

    Can we help Mike here?

    I have the Headgasket that he needs. By any remote chance, does anyone know of someone that is flying from Hobart to Alice Springs and who could take the package with them?

    in case arthurs offer isn't possible ie postage etc, and you need to order, the relevant part numbers are;

    err7154 (is the thickest,) no hole gasket 1.6mm, and err5263 is the 3 hole gasket, 1.5mm. if there is a choice, i would urge you to buy elring brand.
