some may have missed the point, 90 wheelbase is to short, 100 is a great wheelbase on 35's as proven by many wins in outback etc. and if the jobs as good as it looks hes probably got a bit of coin for fancy gear. great depature angle. a good rock crawling rig. now i own a defender and i bet hes got more leg room. plus disco's are probably a fare bit cheeper than defenders in the usa

Why not bobed?
Its so easy (for series, little bit harder for a defender), i will be doing my ute soon.
What tyres will you be running?
Dave
G'day Dave,
I toyed with the idea of bobbed, but decided that I still wanted a good side rear tub and the ability to keep the standard tank where it was. I will also be running LPG via a scuba tank set up between the internal guards of the rear tub.
Most people would then say about the bad departure angle of a D110, but my mate has a D100 not bobbed running 255/85 x 16 BFG MT and has not had an issue with departure angle yet.
The tyres of choice would be Goodyear MTR in 255/85 x 16, but if I cannot get these then I will go 255/85 x 16 BFG MT.

this is my inspiration:
I know its not bobbed, but extra load space will be handy.

That's a nice ute. Is that a 100" wheel base job?
very cool.
the main problem is moving the fuel tank. I will run twin 65litre sill tanks, which i will modify to follow the lines of the outriggers so they wont be bashed so much.
I just find it to long and draging its bum all time.
Your project sounds great though, 100inches is where its at.
Maybe i can shorten my 109 when i coil it? hmm....
