Koni and Bilstien are both rebuildable Koni is less expensive
Both are reliable
Lovells have progressive rated spings
Kings dont have the R and D that Lovells have
and they are roughly the same price
Go the Lovells and Konis you wont be dissapointed
for the steering Damper go the Bilstien
Well i just fitted lovels and procomps to a mates rangie 800 all up for springs and shocks and it performs great on and off road loaded up it was good handels fast gravelwell and the couragations were not a problem il be fitting the procomps soon to my rig as well for the price there great and there made in canada by explorer ...
i'll be fitting bearmach H/D performance off road springs and some procomp ES9000 shocks in the very near future to my new beast so ill let you know how they go. I have lovells springs in my older rangie and to tell you the truth i think theyre horrible, yes theyre nice and soft and have good articulation but the ass end is half as high as the front and the front is uneven after about 2500km, i have efs elite shock on it which seem to be alright, havnt had any complaints, and for an 84 truck it doesnt ride to badly.
Gday rrv80
Do u remember what load rate you got in the springs and how much taller than standard were they the lovels i fitted a few months ago were h/duty in the rear and std in the front and are 3in over standard and they seem to be going well but only time will tell ...
At the moment im using kings in my rangie and there 2in over standard and they semm a bit soft to me but ride ok i got em second hand and am not sure on there load raiting tho ...
No mate thats just to buy the parts will be fitting the gear myself
Koni's shouldn't cost you more than $900 for 4 corners......not fitted, not modded, straight off the shelf.![]()
