You connect the choke cable to the end of the throttle cable and job done. Same as putting a brick on the pedal

I think because of the potentiometer bizzo, this may be a problem. Unless it was somehow attached to the pedal shaft.
I circumvented the issue with a very high tech, patent pending, length of 19x19 pine, suitably dressed of course. Of the correct length, with a groove in one end to mate with the pedal shaft whilst the other end pushes up against the firewall/panelling. Rev range available from 2000 to bejesus
I would attach a photo, but, as I said ... it's all very hush hush due to the patent attorney's requirements ...
As for floor vents, they're also very good at stirring up all the dust under your feet![]()

Im assuming its an early V8 manual choke cable... what year model, or can i be a real slug part number am I chasing???

It "can" be done with a TD5, but no installer is supposed to officially tell you how.
Involves cruise control, or one brand of anyway.

Thanks muchly on the choke cable info... will sort that one out easilt now. much appreciated.
Onto the footwells, to be honest I havent even pulled the covers back to see what is necessary, Ill be a doing that when cleaning up, rustgaurding and spraying both footwells, will let you know what I come up with?
