    Auto leckie Question

Well I'm stuffed. spent all day trying to get lights, (high beam and low beam) horn and indicators working on a 83 rangie...

Got the lights working, replaced stalk...

still no horn or indicators or hazards
should I have power at the flasher can all the time??

any hints on how to check this out would be helpfull...

when it comes to electrics I normally holla for the workshop sparky but that ain't gonna help here

    Tony,

Not sure about a 83 model, but in both my Rangies, if you remove the cover from below steering column, you need to disconnect some wires, either hazzard, or dimmers depending model. I have fallen for it a couple of times... yes I'm not that smart, but it's something to keep in mind....Is this pulg reconnected?
    regards,
    Russell.

Just thought I tell you that my lights was a dodgy connection under the ignition shroud. The place where 6 brown wires join, (they look about 30A) into that stupid figure 8 type connector. If you have seen it you know what I mean.
The connections looked OK but I pushed/pulled them all the lights came on. So I replaced it. Those figure 8 connectors look OK at first glance but mine was a bit rusty inside.

I too still have no indicators, I have hazards but no indicators?

    Good Luck

Two seperate curcuits. Mind you the RRC I had was not exactly factory stock in the wiring Dept. It had two circuits due to the two flasher modules.
